Who we are.

The Eindhovense Oratorium Vereniging (EOV) is one of the larger choirs in Eindhoven. Since its inception in 1947, it has performed well-known and lesser-known oratorios and major choral works.

Classical and modern repertoire

The choir's repertoire includes the great classical works such as: Handel's Messiah, Bach's Weihnachtsoratorium, Mendelssohn's Elias and Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem. But also modern pieces by Poulenc, Willams, Britten, Rutter, Lauridsen and Gjeilo. 

High-level concerts

EOV concerts feature professional soloists. Instrumental support is provided by renowned orchestras.

Besides annual large concerts in Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, the EOV gives performances for special occasions, for example in the Catharinakerk.

Sign up or attend a rehearsal?

Have you become enthusiastic? Would you like to get acquainted with our choir and are you able to rehearse weekly? Then you are welcome to attend a rehearsal. You can do so as a listener, but of course you can also join in right away. Knowledge of solfège is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

We rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 20:00 to 22:00.
